Here's a fresh statement by Dr Sher Afgan Khan Niazi.
I have some friends who admire Mr. Niazi as one of the decent and 'literate' politicians around. But I seriously doubt that decency and integrity has ever had anything to do with Sher Afgan's personality. Just by watching/reading the news for the last three months, one can easily see that this man is just a loud mouth, and indecent politician without any sense of integrity or self-respect like the most others we have active in Pakistan (and some in exile in UK!).
Sher Afgan was recently badly humiliated when he had delivered stupid comments against the Supreme Court and now we can see him favoring the ever-so-unpopular General in such harsh words. It's not that people don't want him as General - that might be his duly earned status whether the people like it or not. But NO Pakistani in his right mind can accept an armyman as a self-proclaimed 'president'. Pakistan has had ENOUGH forced manipulation and exploitation through Army by now - thank you very much!
My message to Sher Afgan is, 'Try to get some decency - at least at this stage of your life!'
